Nancy O'Dell's professional career started in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as a news reporter and anchor with WPDE-TV. Later, she was a the morning news anchor as well as a crime reporter for WCBD-TV. O'Dell's articles in Charleston on how Charleston police handled DUI cases in a manner that was lenient, caused an investigation by State Law Enforcement Division.
